Dr. Baumann is the skin guru on Yahoo! Health, the chief of the Division of Cosmetic Dermatology and a professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. She is author of the best-selling book, "The Skin Type Solution," writes a column for Yahoo! Health, and has published a textbook for McGraw-Hill, "Cosmetic Dermatology: Principles and Practice," that is available in four languages. She is the author or co-author of many journal articles and book chapters. She also heads the University of Miami Cosmetic Center, which was the first university-operated center dedicated to cosmetic dermatology in the United States. Dr. Baumann earned her medical degree from Baylor University in Houston, Texas, and completed her residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
